Tisovec: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

In Tisovec, the 13-kilometre-long Stopy Ležácké tragédie educational trail runs through Tisovec, Dřeveš, Vrbětice and Kvasín. It follows the traces of the resistance and the tragic events in Ležáky during the Second World War.

Culture and history

The iron cross in Tisovec was restored and reconsecrated on 19 July 1903.

The Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, built in 1894, stands in Kvasín. In 1991, it was repaired at the expense of the residents; its tower was newly built and clad with copper sheeting. Four mature lime trees stand next to the chapel. Kvasín is also home to a protected memorial lime tree, a small-leaved lime with a trunk circumference of 650 centimetres.

Vrbětice is home to an unusual bell tower: a steel structure around eight metres high.
