History

Tetov was founded in 1791 by Jan Oktavián Kinský from the Chlumec nad Cidlinou estate. The name Tetov is derived from the names of the estate's owners. Tetov formerly belonged to the political municipality of Kundratice; in 1937, the village was allowed to become independent.

Landscape

In the vicinity of Tetov, the educational trail runs through the landscape of Kladruby. The circular route is approximately five kilometres long and has twelve stops.
