Spojil lies along a cycling or hiking route that connects Černá za Bory with Pardubice, via Spojil and Sezemice, or with Kunětická hora. The Spojil Circular Trail is 6.5 kilometres long, runs mainly along unpaved paths and asphalt, begins near the Apolenka farm and leads along forest paths to the edge of Spojil.

Experiences

Statek Apolenka in Spojil is open to the public every day. At the farm, visitors can see ordinary farm animals such as horses, cows and sheep, as well as exotic animals such as llamas, ostriches and coatis. The children's playground at Statek Apolenka is available to all visitors. The Apolenka dairy in Spojil produces milk, cheese, kefir, yoghurt and whey drinks from high-quality cow's milk and sells these products.

Culture and History

Towards the end of the 18th century, Spojil was established on the site of the former Spojil and Strejček ponds. Two large stones on the village square commemorate these former ponds. There are also two memorial lime trees there: one from 1946 and the younger one from 2008. The Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary also stands on the village square.

Sports and Village Life

The Sportovní areál in Spojil is a multifunctional sports and cultural facility for local residents and the general public. The children's bicycle race “Spojilská míle pro Mílu” was held for the fifth time in 2020; it had also been held in each of the previous four years. The Spojilské posvícení was scheduled as an annual local festival for 2017.
