History of the Village

Domašice was a predecessor of the present-day villages of Sedliště and Kornice. Sedliště was founded on the land left by Domašice below the old Domašice. From 1398 to 1425, the villages of Sedlisk and Sedlisky, with a farm covering one and a half hides, were owned by the Bishop of Litomyšl and belonged to the Diocese of Litomyšl.

The Chapel of St. Michael the Archangel was built in 1874 and is a copy of one of the wings of St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City. It is also the venue for regular Christmas nativity plays and carol singing.
