Čistá: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Farmstead No. 171 in Čistá has been a national cultural monument since 2014. It preserves a smoke room dating from the 16th century and a roof structure. The roof structure is the oldest surviving roof structure of a rural building known today. The farmstead is freely accessible year-round, with free admission.

Culture

The Parish Church of Saint Nicholas in Čistá was already standing in 1349. Its Gothic presbytery was completed in 1583. Inside, the church preserves Renaissance interior paintings, including a depiction of the Crucifixion of Christ that has survived only partially. The Baroque extension of the church began in 1740; the subsequent repairs continued until 1772. It is registered as a cultural monument under ÚSKP number 37158/6-3032.

Traditions

A Stations of the Cross leads to the Church of Saint Nicholas in Čistá. The bells in Čistá are rung regularly. The bell-ringers of Čistá decided to bring back the missing bells and revive the tradition of bell ringing.

Nature

Čistá lies on both banks of the Loučná River. Vyhlídka u Fajmonovy lípy is a wooden footbridge located about four metres above the ground, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area, including the Krkonoše panorama.
