Panská zahrada is a park in Předhradí. It includes a summerhouse and a bust of Filip Kinský; there is also a children's playground and a restaurant.
Culture and history
The Church of Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows in Předhradí dates from 1753. The Renaissance manor brewery is part of the Skuteč–Předhradí urban heritage ensemble.
The original fortified bailey area of the medieval Rychmburk Castle features a preserved circuit wall with bastions. The castle was built at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries; visitors can climb its original 30-metre-high tower. The Borůvka–Předhradí (Rychmburk)–Luže (Košumberk) cycling trip leads to the lower part of Předhradí, where this castle is located, and runs mostly along cycle routes 8551, 4024 and 18.
Nature
The cadastral area of Předhradí belongs to the Údolí Krounky a Novohradky Nature Park. The riverbank vegetation along the watercourses is preserved in this nature park; it also includes several habitats containing particularly protected plant and animal species.
