Lubník: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Lubník is situated in the undulating landscape in the eastern part of the Podorlická Uplands. The Lubnický stream flows through the village and is one of the smaller left-bank tributaries of the Moravská Sázava. A marked local cycle route also runs through the southern part of Lubník.

Culture

At the edge of the forest, a preserved boundary stone marks the former national border. In the local cemetery, a restored marble cross from 1922 has been erected as a small sacred monument of the municipality, crafted to a high standard; it consists of five parts. A new bilingual Czech-German plaque at the cemetery cross commemorates the former residents of Lubník who found their final resting place there.

The Church of St Peter and Paul in Lubník is a rural single-nave Empire-style church from 1835, with a small tower above the façade. It was built to replace a wooden structure at the expense of the owners of the estate, the Liechtensteins.

Local Events

The traditional Lubnická pouť takes place every year and is held to welcome summer and the upcoming summer holidays. It includes children’s attractions such as a chair-o-plane, a boating pool and a shooting gallery. Traditionally, a football match is also scheduled for Sunday, with Lubník playing against a team from Cotkytle.

At the Vinné ladění event on 15 May 2026, 30 to 40 wine samples from the Poklady z Moravy wine shop were presented at a public wine tasting. Musical accompaniment was provided by the CML cimbalom band from Šumperk.
