Sports and public facilities

The Kosořín multi-purpose sports complex includes an athletics track and a multi-purpose court. It is open to the public daily during operating hours. Sports shoes with smooth soles are required for the athletics and multi-purpose areas.

Cycle paths in the surrounding area

In March 2025, two new cycle paths along roads II/315 and II/317 were opened for use in Choceň and partly also in Kosořín. A planned cycle path connection between Kosořín and Zálší along road II/317 is intended to connect to the new cycle path between Choceň and Kosořín, thereby linking further municipalities with national long-distance cycle routes No. 8 (Northern Magistrale) and No. 18. In these areas, the new cycle paths contribute to safer and smoother travel for cyclists and pedestrians.

Culture and history

A brick bell tower in the form of a small chapel has stood in Kosořín since 1907. The chapel, with its bell tower and statue of Christ, is designated as a building of architectural value. The first written mention of Kosořín appears in a document from 1292, by which King Václav II founded Zbraslav Monastery.

Transport and local facilities

A second-class road from Choceň to Litomyšl runs through Kosořín. Kosořín has a bus connection. A cultural centre is also available there.
