Lipovec: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

About one third of the area of the municipality of Lipovec is forested; the cadastral area also contains orchards.

Mount Krkanka is located in the vicinity of Lipovec. Mount Bučina is located in the area around Lipovec. The hill Višňovka [Podhořany u Ronova] and the hill (Na Spravedlnosti) [Ronov nad Doubravou] are also located nearby.

History and Culture

The Lipovec fortress is mentioned as abandoned in 1510. Today, only a distinctive ridge of terrain remains of the former fortress grounds.

The traditional Pálení čarodějnic festival is scheduled for 30 April 2026 from 5 p.m. at the Lipovec sports complex.

Things to Do

The Partyzánská stezka is an approximately 9 km circular trail that can be completed on foot. Special access permission is required for the Licoměřice geological site because of the military area, quarry, and private properties.
