History

The Hamerská Reservoir is one of the oldest embankment dams in the Czech Republic. It currently serves as a source of drinking water.

Getting Around

Marked hiking trails in Studnice lead to natural and historical attractions. The 5 km-long, blue-marked Po Martinových stopách hiking trail begins in Studnice and leads to Stanský mlýn, passing through Zadní Hradiště along the way.

The trail has five information panels, the first of which is dedicated to Studnice. It also leads to a local deer enclosure, where visitors can stop at a shelter and observe the animals. Several cycling routes also pass through Studnice.
