History and Buildings
The first documented mention of Kladno dates from 1392; at that time, Kladno belonged to the Rychmburk estate.
In the cadastral area of Kladno stands a historic vaulted stone bridge over the Vojtěchovský stream, described as an interesting technical monument. The bridge is located on the old imperial road I/34.
In the centre of Kladno there is a chapel that was formerly also used as a fire station. Kladno also maintains a monument to those who fell in the First World War.
