Culture and history

The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk is a Baroque building on an elongated ridge between mighty lime trees. It was consecrated in 1708. The grave of Countess Arnoštka z Langetu, owner of the Bystré estate, is located beside the chapel. The ridge near the chapel offers magnificent views of the Valburčina Valley and the château in Bystré.

Easy hikes are one of the leisure activities available in Hartmanice. From Hartmanice, trips to Svojanov and Bystré are possible. On the hiking route from Nyklovice to Bystré via Svojanov, one section towards Hartmanice leads through the forest and uphill; Bystré can be reached on foot after two kilometres. Downhill skiing is available as a leisure activity in Hamry.
