Culture and History

The monument to the victims of National Socialism in Dětřichov u Moravské Třebové is a cultural monument of the Czech Republic and was erected in 1955. Every year in May, the municipality of Dětřichov organises the DĚTŘICHOVSKÝ MEMORIÁL, a road race from Moravská Třebová to Dětřichov commemorating the end of the Second World War and the victims of the concentration camp in Dětřichov.

Older and more recent traces are also part of the village's appearance: the historic Kupecká stezka trade route passed through Dětřichov u Moravské Třebové, and the Chapel of Saint Anne is located in Dětřichov. A memorial plaque from 1985 commemorates the so-called birthplace camp. Several original farmsteads also preserve architectural evidence of the area's local past.
