Ctětín: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The granodiorite at the Ctětín geotope is approximately 360 million years old. The granodiorite extracted in Ctětín is processed on site into paving stones of various sizes; larger compact blocks are prepared for larger stone building elements.

Rock and Townscape

Ctětín features compact development, original gardens and courtyards, additional greenery, and numerous orchards. The rocks around Ctětín belong to the Železné hory plutonic complex; the northern part belongs to the younger Nasavrky Pluton.

Landscape

The active quarry near Ctětín is accessible only by prior arrangement with the operator. Bučina Mountain is located in the vicinity of Ctětín. The nearby surroundings also include Skalky Hill [Ctětín], Ochoz Hill [Nasavrky], and the hill (U Vranova) [Vysočina-Rváčov].

Culture and Events

The Church of Svatý Jiří is located in the wider region around Ctětín. In bad weather, the Ctětín Summer Cinema 2026 will take place in the cultural centre.

The third edition of Mokrá lávka was scheduled for 18 July 2026 from 2 p.m. at the upper pond in Vranov. At the event announced for 18 July 2026, participants were due to compete against one another while crossing a floating bridge over the pond; a bouncy castle for children was also planned.
