Paršovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Paršovice lies at an altitude of 320 m in the Záhoří landscape. The Kelčská pahorkatina hills lie to the south, and the Maleník Massif to the north. Maleník is a 479 m-high peak in the cadastral territory of Paršovice.

Culture and History

The parish church of Paršovice is part of the village’s history. A predecessor of the parish church was already mentioned in the 16th century. The parish church was consecrated by Archbishop František Bauer on July 22, 1906, and is the only Empire-style church in the Přerov District.

At the crossroads on the road to Valšovice, the stone statue of Our Lady of Hostýn stands in front of the Sokolovna building. It was donated by Jan Sehnal from Paršovice.

Nature and Landscape

The Dvorčák Nature Reserve consists of a natural mixed forest with a species-rich herb layer. It is also an important breeding area for birds.

Cycling Route, Viewpoint and Event

The “Moravská stezka” cycling route runs north of Paršovice. The Na krásné vyhlídce forest lodge is a place with beautiful views of Záhoří and the Hostýn Mountains. The 7th Paršovský duathlon is a children’s sporting event featuring running and cycling.

At a spring on a forest path above Střelnice, there is a memorial plaque dedicated to Dr. Hermann Reuss.
