Milenov is located in the natural landscape of the Moravian Gate. The village stretches along the Milenovec stream and lies at the foot of Mount Uhřínov.

Culture and History

Milenov was first mentioned in 1353. In 1543, its historical domain affiliation changed from the Drahotuše estate to the Hranice estate. Until 1867, the village had a wooden bell tower.

The chapel in Milenov was built between 1897 and 1902. A chapel on the village square in Milenov was recently reconstructed. A sandstone monument bearing the names of the fallen residents of Milenov was also erected in their memory.

Cycling Route and Events

Cycling route 6060 runs from Milenov via Drahotuše to Hranice and is 7.0 kilometres long.

Events called “Milenovské cákání” take place at the small water reservoir above the village.
