Horní Těšice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Horní Těšice can be explored from three perspectives: culture, nature and events.

Culture and local life

The Chapel of the Virgin Mary dates from 1875 and is part of Horní Těšice’s local cultural heritage. At the same time, it is considered a local landscape landmark in Horní Těšice; its tower defines the local elevation reference point.

Cultural events in Horní Těšice are held, among other places, at the “Pod Lucernou” excursion site. The annual events programme includes holy masses, creative workshops for children, celebrations marking the opening and closing of the summer holidays, a Bethlehem procession with St Nicholas gifts and an Advent café.

In Horní Těšice, the “Košt slivovice” event, featuring the tasting of a wide variety of spreads, was already organised as its 8th and 9th edition by members of SDH Těšice. The traditional spring event “Hledání velikonočního zajíčka” was scheduled for 3 April 2026 from 3:30 p.m. at the “Pod Lucernou” excursion site.

Nature

The Těšice Nature Monument protects wet meadow communities with accompanying riparian woodland along the Nihlovský potok stream. The tall globe flower (Trollius altissimus) is frequently found in the nature monument.
