Kamenná lies in the southern foothills of the Jeseníky Mountains, in a valley hollow below a wooded slope. To the east of Kamenná, the rocky Bradlo Mountain rises to 601 m. From there, views stretch in all directions, especially to the southeast across the Uničov Plateau.

History and Culture
The first written mention of Kamenná dates from 1385. There is a chapel in the village dating from 1757. In 1873, a wire-goods factory was founded in Kamenná. In addition, a considerable proportion of the population was engaged in home weaving and the production of various types of nets.
