Písečná U Jablunkova: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Písečná U Jablunkova is located on the right bank of the Olše. The stream Kotelnice runs through the elongated municipal area of Písečná; hiking trails towards the Beskid mountain Bahenec also pass through the village.

Landscape

The mountains Velký Stožek, Kiczory and Gírová are located in the immediate vicinity of Písečná. Mount Mały Stożek is situated in the surrounding area. In the wider regional area lies the Golgota Beskidów Cross monument.

Culture and tradition

A mass is celebrated in the Chapel of Saint Isidore in May on the saint’s feast day. There are three crosses near the chapel. Since 1990, a Stations of the Cross procession has been organised annually during Lent.

Leisure and events

The multifunctional cultural centre in Písečná includes, among other things, a workout area. During the summer months, the Letní kino na výletišti open-air cinema is held regularly.

The Výletní a sportovní areál Písečná has a grass football pitch with portable goals and nets, as well as a tarmac court for ball sports. The complex also includes a children’s playground with climbing frames, swings, carousels and a sandbox.
