Neplachovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Neplachovice Castle is considered the only authentically preserved Empire-style castle in the Opava region. The present-day castle was built between 1837 and 1840 at a new location on the so-called Holasovické pole. Exhibitions are currently held at Neplachovice Castle.

Culture and History

The existence of the Church of St. John in Neplachovice is documented as early as 1257. The original Neplachovice castle complex included an English landscape park. The foundation of Neplachovský mlýn is dated to the first half of the 16th century.

Nature and Landscape

The Heraltický stream is a meandering watercourse with former river channels. The Heraltický stream natural monument extends across the cadastral area of Neplachovice and protects a wetland habitat of high landscape value. The protected area contains regularly flooded wet meadows.

The nearest railway station in the vicinity of Neplachovice is located in Holasovice, near the northern edge of Neplachovice, on line 316 between Ostrava-Svinov, Opava východ and Krnov. There are three public transport stops in Neplachovice.
