Lhotka: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The highest and southernmost point of Lhotka’s cadastral area lies at an altitude of 900 m and can be reached directly from Ondřejnické sedlo.

Elevations and Landscape

The 890 m-high summit of Ondřejník offers expansive views due to the almost complete absence of trees. Lhotka’s municipal area extends along the Ondřejník ridge to the summit of Suché úbočí at an altitude of 864 m. Ondřejnické sedlo is a 757 m-high saddle where the cadastral areas of Lhotka, Metylovice and Pstruží meet.

Paths and Nature

At Antoníček, on the path from Ondřejník to Lhotka, a turn-off to the village begins, marked by a signposted cross. Two benches at Antoníček invite visitors to rest. The Pramen Olešné spring can be reached via the green-marked path from Antoníček towards Lhotka. The stream rising at Pramen Olešné flows through the eastern part of Lhotka, as well as through Metylovice and Palkovice, and subsequently feeds a recreational reservoir of the same name.

The 21 km cycling excursion “Circuit around Ondřejník” includes a green-marked section leading to Lhotka.

Culture and Recreation

The “Kaple Navštívení Panny Marie” chapel in Lhotka was built in 1844 from donations. In the “Kaple Navštívení Panny Marie” chapel in Lhotka, monthly services began in 1925 whenever possible, with the archbishop’s permission.

The “Amfiteátr U školy” amphitheatre in Lhotka is used for cultural events, particularly the “Sochovy národopisné slavnosti”.

The “Sportoviště Kuřín” sports centre has a multi-purpose pitch with artificial turf and a reconstructed grass football pitch. In 2020, the “Sportoviště Kuřín” sports centre acquired a workout area, several outdoor exercise stations, an obstacle course, spring riders and a sandpit.
