Dobroslavice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Dobroslavice combines protected cultural sites with a landscape where a now-rare butterfly, species-rich wetlands and marked trails come together. Between the castle park, the banks of the Opava and the natural areas of Jilešovice–Děhylov, this creates a local landscape that can be explored through specific structures, habitats and paths.
Culture
The castle park in Dobroslavice is protected as a cultural monument. It is an English-style park dating from 1813 to 1819. Its subsequent development is also documented: the castle park was revitalised from 2002 to 2003. The park includes rhododendrons as well as newly planted coniferous and deciduous trees. The different dates show how historic design and later maintenance combine here to create a cohesive park landscape.
The castle park also contains the ruins of a stone bridge. It was built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Another distinctive site is located near the reconciliation crosses of Dobroslavice: there stands a sandstone column of the Virgin Mary with a Madonna from the 19th century. The castle complex also includes the castle chapel of Dobroslavice. It dates from 1896 and has a marble altar from 1910.
Nature
The Jilešovice–Děhylov natural monument protects the dusky large blue butterfly (Maculinea nausithous). The site lies on alluvial deposits in the cadastral areas of Dobroslavice and Děhylov, between Hlučín and Děhylov on the right bank of the Opava. Its natural features extend beyond the protected butterfly: the site is rich in amphibians, reptiles and birds.
Poštovní rybník is also a nature reserve forming part of the landscape of Dobroslavice. Together with the Jilešovice–Děhylov natural monument, this places different forms of protected nature side by side: alluvial deposits along the river and a protected pond area.
Trails and Maps
The green and yellow hiking trail markings of the Klub českých turistů run through Dobroslavice. There is also a local marking in the direction of Plesná. Cycling routes are likewise part of the local trail network. Two maps of the cycling routes of the Matice Slezské microregion are located in public spaces in Dobroslavice; there are therefore also two maps of these cycling routes in public areas.
The educational trail from Dobroslavice to Děhylov offers its own combination of nature observation and a trail route. It was created in 2015 and comprises nine stations equipped with information boards. The route connects the two places mentioned, making the landscape comprehensible not only through its location but also through signposted information.
Tradition
Dobroslavické kosení, a traditional event, is part of the local events calendar. The 14th edition is scheduled to take place on 29 August 2026 from 2 p.m. in the castle park near Pizzeria Kuželna in Dobroslavice.
