Cycle Route 56 connects Košařiska, Milíkov, Jablunkov, Písek and Bukovec.

Nature and Landscape

The Plenisko Nature Reserve protects natural, primeval forest-like stands with indigenous firs, beeches, spruces and sycamore maples. It lies on the southern slope of the Silesian Beskids below the Kyčera summit and includes numerous wetland areas as well as the source region of the Bystrý stream.

The Olše European protected area also includes the cadastral territory of Písek u Jablunkova. It comprises mixed ash-alder floodplain forests of the temperate and boreal regions of Europe.

Mount Gírová and Mount Kiczory are located in the vicinity of Písek u Jablunkova. Mount Velký Stožek and the Wisła Czarne - Próg wodny waterfall are located in the surrounding area of Písek u Jablunkova.

Cycle Paths and Trails

In Písek, Cycle Route 56 crosses Route 6086, passes over a bridge across the Olše and continues to Bukovec. The Olše cycle path runs along Road II/474 through Písek to Jablunkov. An asphalt forest road leads from Písek to the Polanka recreation centre.

Culture

A new, architecturally interesting church was established in Písek u Jablunkova in 2009; the building was completed a year later, in 2010. A pilgrimage celebration in honour of Divine Mercy takes place in Písek on the first Sunday after Easter. The Golgota Beskidów Cross monument is located in the wider regional area around Písek u Jablunkova.
