Culture and history

The Pyrám was erected in 1813 at the intersection of three state roads and is now 8.44 m high. On the village square in Ohrazenice, the Chapel of St. Wenceslas is one of the municipality’s historic monuments. It has a bell dating from 1760 and was rebuilt in 1820 after the former wooden chapel had been demolished in 1815.

Nature

The remaining areas of Ohrazenice are surrounded by fields and forests. The Český ráj Protected Landscape Area stretches south of Ohrazenice.

Getting around

Cycle route No. 3049 runs through Ohrazenice from Dolánky via Ohrazenice to Doubí near Turnov.

Sightseeing

The Ohrazenice water tower has a water capacity of 150 m³. Its open viewing platform is 17 m above the ground and offers panoramic views. The tower is not normally open to the public; however, it can be visited on several days a year accompanied by staff members.
