Peřimov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Peřimov lies on the Olšina stream at the foot of the Krkonoše Mountains, in a long, open valley west of Jilemnice. The lower part of the Peřimov cadastral area is bounded along its western edge by the Jizera River.

Landscape

The 509-metre-high Hrobka Hill rises south of Peřimov. A road bridge over the Jizera crosses the river as a reinforced-concrete bridge dating from 1912 and connects its two banks in the cadastral areas of Peřimov and Dolní Sytová.

Nature

The Strážník locality lies 2 km southwest of Peřimov. It includes both the area of the national nature monument and the rocks at the summit of Strážník. The nature monument protects a unique crystallographic form of quartz known as star quartz.

Strážník can only be reached by car with an access permit; the road reaches to within approximately 250 m of the locality.

Culture and History

Several buildings preserve distinctive evidence of the village's history. Chalupa No. 16 is a listed cultural monument and a timber-framed building. Its original character was altered by renovations at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s; a large living room and a high-quality gable finial have been preserved.

The “Na Skalí” farmstead, No. 76, was built in 1847. It stands on steeply sloping terrain above the local stream and is considered a high-quality example of vernacular architecture of the developed chamber-stable type. The former Lukšův Mill is a technical monument on the Peřimovský stream along the road between Peřimov and Mříčná; it displays features of late Neoclassicism from the mid-19th century.

Events

“Pouť kolem Peřimova” is a walking and running event held almost entirely along the municipal boundary of Peřimov. The date documented for 2025 is 2 August, while 1 August is listed in the event calendar for 2026.

The Peřimovská pouť included a festive event on Saturday, the traditional pilgrimage on Sunday, and a closing celebration on Monday from 1 to 3 August 2026. “Vepřové hody” are considered a traditional pork festival; the Peřimov Volunteer Fire Brigade, SDH Peřimov, invited visitors to V Klubu in Peřimov on 4 October 2025 from 2 p.m.

A cultural event is also documented: on 14 June 2026 at 4 p.m., the Na Peříčku children's ensemble performed the play “Pohádky z Krakonošovy zahrádky” in the covered area of V Klubu in Peřimov.

Cycling

Cycle route 4173 passes through Peřimov and Mříčná.
