Lažany: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Lažany reveals its character through specific sites closely connected with the village: U Lipky is a low hill on the northern side of Lažany. An artillery battle took place there in 1866 during the Austro-Prussian War. U Lipky offers expansive views of the surrounding area.

Landscape

The hill of Kališťata [Čtveřín] lies in the immediate surroundings of Lažany. Further afield in the region are Černá Studnice, Pustina and Střelečská hůra.

Culture and History

The stone cross in Lažany dates from 1821 and was reconstructed in 2000. Valdštejn Church is located near Lažany. The Chapel of the Holy Trinity is also located further afield in the region.

The grounds around the Strom republik were landscaped in 2020 and equipped with shrubs and benches. The Strom republik is a winter linden planted by residents of Lažany in the immediate vicinity.

Local Character

Moštovna Lažany was established in 1965 in an area where berries and apples are grown. In its production and processing, it draws on extensive experience from traditional cider making. The Moštovna has a factory shop at Lažany 71.
