Activities
The Kacanovy swimming pool complex includes a 30 × 15 metre swimming pool with a non-swimmer area. The complex also features a children's paddling pool and outdoor showers.
Opposite the Kacanovy swimming pool complex is a sports zone with a volleyball court, table tennis and pétanque.
Culture and History
Kopicův statek near the municipality of Kacanovy is considered one of the most remarkable monuments of the folk architecture of the Pojizeří region. The property is privately owned and cannot be visited.
The log cabin known as Jirošova rychta was built in 1787 by Jiří Jiroš. The Kopicův statek complex includes an equestrian statue of Saint George dating from 1806.
The Radeč Chapel is an immovable cultural monument and was built in 1836. This chapel stands east of Kacanovy on the site of the former village of Radeč.
Kavčiny is a small rock castle near Valdštejn and is considered a kind of outlying fortification of this important castle. Kavčiny Castle was conquered in 1440 by the district emergency authority.
