Donawitz: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

A 22-kilometre cycling route dating from 2026 runs between Karlovy Vary and Chodov u Bečova through Stanovice. Its route follows roads with low traffic volumes and, in some sections, traffic-free forest paths.

Nature

The main purpose of the Stanovice waterworks is to store water to supply the Karlovy Vary region with drinking water. The dam of the waterworks, as well as the nearby roads and areas, are permanently closed to pedestrians; public access to the first-degree protection zone is prohibited.

Culture

The Chapel of Saint Vitus is one of the four cultural monuments in Stanovice; these also include three half-timbered farmsteads. The Chapel of Saint Vitus in Stanovice was built in 1766 in the late Baroque style.

The Church of the Three Kings was built as a Gothic parish church, probably as early as the mid-14th century. In 1678, an early Baroque replacement building was erected on the site of the original church.
