On the outskirts of the municipality of Hájek lies the Obora Hájek wildlife enclosure, which bears the same name. It stretches between the municipalities of Hájek, Sadov and Velký Rybník and covers 418 hectares. Fallow deer and mouflon can be observed in the enclosure.
Nature and Trails
The Obora Hájek educational trail begins and ends at the entrance gate to the wildlife enclosure, starting from the municipality of Hájek. It is approximately 5.2 kilometres long.
Cycling Route
The “Okolo obory Hájek” cycling loop is an easy, 18-kilometre circular route and is more suitable for mountain bikes. It runs along the wildlife enclosure to Hájek.
Culture
The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk in Hájek is a protected cultural monument and a small sacred building dating from the first half of the 19th century. The Gothic water castle of Hájek was built in the 14th century as the seat of the local Loket fief holders. The Trinity Column is a high-quality example of the decorative arts, representing a type of small sacred monument typical of the region.

Hájek railway station is located on line 140 between Chomutov, Karlovy Vary and Cheb and is integrated into the public transport system.
