The mountain Velká Suchá is located near Lupenice, while the mountain Strýc lies in the wider regional area.

Events

The Volejbalová Lupenice tournament takes place at the Sportovní areál Lupenice. The first Volejbalová Lupenice tournament was held in 1962. During Volejbalová Lupenice, the Sportovní areál Lupenice provides free camping areas, sanitary facilities that are open continuously, and sales outlets for hot and cold food and drinks.

Lupenická lávka is a traditional event held in June at the local fire-water reservoir in Lupenice.

The Sportovní areál Lupenice sports complex has eight volleyball courts. The sports complex in Lupenice has facilities for social and sporting events. A gymnasium is located in the building of the former primary school in Lupenice.
