History and culture
At the Turyň fortress site, a small remnant of a rampart has been preserved on a promontory near a small pond. The Turyň fortress site is classified as a Category UAN I archaeological area and as a significant archaeological site. The Turyň fortress is mentioned in 1399 and was already abandoned by 1542.
The Chapel of the Virgin Mary is designated in Litoboř as a monument of local significance. It dates from 1800 and received a new bell with an electric mechanism in 1998.
In Litoboř, there is a stone cross with Christ, angels and a relief of the Virgin Mary on a stone pedestal. Matěj Drtina had it erected in 1823 and donated it to the municipality of Litoboř; it was most recently restored in 2003.
