Lískovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

At the northern edge of Lískovice, the Church of Saint Nicholas stands on a hilltop in the middle of the cemetery. The rectangular, single-nave building has a rectangular presbytery and a square porch on the west side.

Culture and History

The history of the village includes the Lískovice castle site: it consists of an oval mound with a partially preserved moat near House No. 50. The Lískovice fortress is mentioned in 1357, 1499 and 1551; by the second half of the 16th century, it had already been abandoned.

Tereziny Dary was founded in 1777. The meeting of the citizens and friends of Tereziny Dary was announced as a traditional event and was scheduled to take place on 19 June 2026. The wider regional area around Lískovice is also home to the Lázně landmark, a church.

Nature

The Temník pond near Lískovice covers 13.77 hectares and is considered one of the most valuable bird sites in the region. Its shoreline vegetation consists of 65% cattails, 25% reeds and 10% low littoral vegetation.

The reed beds of Temník pond were home to a breeding colony of approximately 10 pairs of grey herons on average. Up to 3 pairs of western marsh harriers and 8 pairs of black-necked grebes also bred there.

The Maxinec mountain (Mlázovický chlum) lies in the wider regional area around Lískovice. The surrounding area includes Kloboučky hill (Lískovice u Ostroměře), Pařez hill (Sukorady u Hořic) and Hořeník hill (Ohnišťany).

Cycling Routes

A cycling tour through the Chlum hills leads via Dobrá Voda u Hořic and Lískovice to Loučná Hora. Cycle Route No. 4287 connects Lískovice, Šaplava and Loučná Hora. The 7-kilometre Cycle Route No. 4143 runs between Milovice and Domoslavice.
