The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Osek combines several construction phases. It was built in the first half of the 14th century as an originally Gothic church oriented towards the east. In the third quarter of the 18th century, it was redesigned in the Baroque style; a ribbed vault was preserved in the presbytery. The interior furnishings are in the Rococo style and date from the second half of the 18th century.

The wooden hexagonal bell tower in Osek was built in 1601 on the site of an earlier structure. Its special supporting construction consists of a beam supporting the bell beam, braced by wooden struts inclined diagonally upwards. The tower has an open section around the bell, tapers towards the top and offers the opportunity to view the surrounding landscape.
