Kyje: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Kyje lies on the southeastern slope of Tábor. The Golden Trail of Bohemian Paradise runs through the village between Tábor and Železnice. The Kyje railway station on the Sudoměř–Stará Paka line was built in 1906.

Landscape

A geological fault between the Bohemian Table and the rocks of the Krkonoše foothills runs through Kyje. The upper part of Kyje offers extensive views across the landscape.

Hiking

The hiking trail from Kyje to Tábor is marked in red and forms part of the Golden Trail of Bohemian Paradise. At the trail junction near the Kyje stop, a yellow-marked hiking trail branches off; it bypasses the ascent to the summit of Tábor and follows a contour line.

Culture

The crucifix on the village green in Kyje is listed as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. The farmhouse at No. 8 on the southern outskirts of Kyje is also listed as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. Kyje is home to a niche chapel dating from the second half of the 18th century. Several log houses in the village have carved gables. The Zajíc Farm in Kyje features a typical gable with the elements used there.
