The first written mention of Horní Radechová dates from 1402; at that time, the municipality had to pay the chaplain from Náchod for holding Masses. In 1560, Horní Radechová already had 48 house numbers, mostly farmsteads. The inhabitants lived mainly from agriculture and weaving.

The T-S 2 Studýnka infantry bunker is an immovable cultural monument. It is located in the cadastral area of Horní Radechová, in the Studénky locality. The Chapel of St. Cyril and St. Methodius belongs to Horní Radechová and is assigned to the Roman Catholic parish of Červený Kostelec.
