Nature
Čertovy hrady is a protected area of geological character with weathered sandstone formations of the Perské and Koryčanské types covering an area of 1 ha. Water erosion created bowl-shaped depressions in the highest rocks.
Two of the three Zátluky ponds are located in a tranquil woodland setting. Two of the three Zátluky ponds are easily accessible from the main road via convenient forest paths and are considered places for relaxation.
Geographical Location
The Morava hill [Lanžov], the Vinice hill [Bílé Poličany], and the hill (Končiny) [Dubenec] are located in the vicinity of Velehrádek. In the wider regional surroundings of Velehrádek are Maxinec Mountain (MLázovický chlum) and the church of Lázně.
History
There was once a fortress in Zátluky; a pavilion was later built approximately on its site and was recently restored. A cellar beneath today’s Building No. 1 is preserved from Velehrádek Fortress.
Cycling
Cycle route No. 4271 passes through Velehrádek and Lanžov and continues to Velký Vřešťov.
