Culture and History

The Utraquist chapel and the separate bell tower of the Church of St. James the Elder date from the construction phase between 1511 and 1518. The later construction phase of this church lasted from 1599 to 1603 and was carried out under the direction of the Italian architect Carlo Valmadi. The chapels of the Stations of the Cross are made of red sandstone, are approximately man-high, and have niches that end at the top in a vaulted shell shape.

Kovárna No. 1 in Dolní Lánov is designated as a technical monument. In the immediate vicinity of Dolní Lánov is Lázně, which is classified as a church. In the wider regional surroundings of Dolní Lánov is Spalona Strażnica, which is classified as a ruin.
