Prostřední Lánov: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The war memorial in Prostřední Lánov stands in the square by the post office and municipal office. It was erected in 1927 in memory of those who fell in the war.

The Lánov Information Centre in Prostřední Lánov provides tourist information about the region. It also provides information about bus and train connections as well as cycling routes.

Experiences

Vrchlabí Airport has the legal status of a public domestic airport. Public sightseeing flights depart from there exclusively from 15 June to 15 October: on Fridays from 2 p.m. and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. The last departure takes place no later than 7 p.m.

Nature and surroundings

Tetřeví vrch, which is classified as a mountain, is located in the immediate vicinity of Prostřední Lánov. Přední Žalý, Černá hora and Zadní Žalý are also located in the surrounding area and are likewise classified as mountains.

Culture and history

The surroundings include Spalona Strażnica, which is classified as a ruin. Lázně, classified as a church, is also located nearby. Zamek Chojnik, classified as a castle, is located in the wider regional surroundings of Prostřední Lánov.

Cycling

A project is planned for the Lánov–Čistá v Krkonoších cycle path section. It connects to the already completed Vrchlabí–Lánov cycle path, forms part of the Jizersko-Jesenian Cycle Route No. 22 and, in its first section, concerns the cadastral area of Prostřední Lánov. The planned new construction is intended to improve traffic safety for cyclists and, where applicable, pedestrians as well.
