Vlačice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Vlačice Fortress dates back to the 14th century. Most of its present appearance dates from around the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. During this period, it was converted into a chicory drying plant. The listed complex includes a granary and two farm buildings. Only part of the surrounding masonry has been preserved in its original form.

Culture

The Vlačice sheepfold is a manorial sheepfold. The small house next to the Vlačice sheepfold is attributed to the first half of the 19th century due to its similar construction. House No. 2 in Vlačice was built around the middle of the 19th century from solid stone and still retains large windows in their original arrangement.

Landscape

Žehušicko is an exceptionally well-preserved example of Baroque urban planning and a Baroque-designed cultural landscape with avenues, parks, and game enclosures belonging to the Žehušicko-Nové Dvory estate.

Cycling

Marked cycle route 0113 passes through Vlačice. It connects Rohozec, Žehušice, Bojmany, Vlačice, Vrdy, Žleby, and Zehuby.
