Třebonín: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Church of St. Matthew in Třebonín contains a richly carved high altar dating from the early 18th century. Třebonín also has a wooden shingled bell tower.

Culture and History

Hrádek u Třebonína lies 400 metres west of the centre of Třebonín. The site consists of a double ditch and a rampart. In the vicinity of Třebonín, the medieval fortifications between Lomec and Třebonín in the forest have clearly recognisable remains of the surrounding fortifications.

In the valley near Třebonín, through which the Medenický stream flows, former limestone and marble quarries are located along its banks. The former Vápenka mill stood in the valley of the Medenický stream north of Třebonín; its name was derived from a nearby quarry.

The Paběnický stream flows through Třebonín. Several landscape features classified as mountains lie in the wider regional surroundings of Třebonín: Ostojovka [Ledeč nad Sázavou-Souboř], Krkanka and Hořánck. The landscape feature (U Kŕíže) [Opatovice I], classified as a hill, is also located in the vicinity of Třebonín.

Events and Surroundings

The Tancovačka is considered a traditional dance event in Třebonín. On 29 April 2018, a large maypole crown was decorated and erected in the village square of Třebonín in the morning. Zámek Kačina castle is located in the vicinity of Třebonín.
