Středokluky: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Středokluky combines distinctive cultural monuments with protected landscape features and paths through the village. At the centre is the Church of St. Procopius on the village square; the village and its surroundings also include a Natura 2000 pond, a cycle route, a green-marked hiking trail and several historic sites.

Culture

The Church of St. Procopius stands on the village square in the centre of Středokluky. It is surrounded by the wall of a former cemetery with niche chapels; the central Chapel of the Holy Cross is incorporated into the eastern section of the enclosing wall. At the southern edge of Středokluky, the sculptural group of St. Ludmila and St. Wenceslas also stands on the road from Kněževes to Běloky.

Kalingrův mlýn is also one of the historic landmarks. The mill was rebuilt into its present Baroque form under Jan Kalinger in 1752 and is a listed mill.

In the vicinity of Středokluky are the Stará kanalizační čistírna Praha-Bubeneč Museum, Letohrádek královny Anny Palace, the Galerie Rudolfinum Museum and Palác Kinských.

Nature and trails

The Rybník Pod Panskou pond lies between the “Koupaliště – Plovárna” sports complex and the D7 motorway. It is part of the Natura 2000 network; its bypass channel serves as a biotope for the stone crayfish.

Cycle route 0079 runs through Středokluky. A green-marked hiking trail leads through the village between Tuchoměřice, Černovičky and Běloky. There is also a new children’s playground on the edge of the “Koupaliště” sports complex and near the Na Plovárně restaurant.

The Sedlička [Středokluky] hill is in the immediate vicinity of Středokluky. Střelecký ostrov and Slovanský ostrov are located in the vicinity of Středokluky. Velké Benátky are located in the wider regional surroundings of Středokluky.
