Another connection between landscape and culture is provided by an excursion from Tursko to Holubice: it leads through Kozinec and then to the Romanesque rotunda in Holubice.

Culture and History

In the nearby municipality of Holubice, original Romanesque frescoes have been preserved in the rotunda of the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. The Romanesque rotunda of the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary was founded under Přemysl Otakar I.

In Kozinec, the Chapel of the Archangel Michael was built by the Jesuits in 1739. A pond was created in the nearby municipality of Holubice in 1407.

The local community life includes TJ Sokol Holubice, an amateur football club with youth teams. Holubice-Kozinec also has a workout fitness area called “Workoutové hřiště Holubice-Kozinec”.
