Culture and History

The first historical mention of Roblín dates back to 1365. In the 14th century, Dolní Roblín was a fief of Karlštejn Castle, while Horní Roblín belonged to Třebotov. Karlštejn is a castle in the vicinity of Roblín.

Nature and Landscape

Roblín is situated in a landscape of wooded hills and fertile agricultural land. The Kulivá hora–Švarcava geological locality stretches along the Švarcava Valley from Solopysky to Roblín towards Tův mlýn. In the section of the locality extending to Roblín, fragments of alluvial forest accompany the Švarcava stream. The locality is a nature reserve within the Český kras Protected Landscape Area and is designated as a geotourism excursion site.

Trails

The locality can be reached from the road via a walkable hiking trail; the access route continues for more than 250 metres. A blue-marked hiking trail also runs through Roblín from Třebotov and Vonoklasy towards Mořina and Dub sedmi bratří.
