Buildings and Local History

On the southern hill of Neprobylice, the Church of the Holy Spirit was rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1741. In Neprobylice, it is registered as an immovable cultural monument; its register number is 42036/2-538. The single-nave, oriented building has an oval floor plan, a transept, a rectangular-ended chancel and a rectangular sacristy. The church was altered in the 19th century and is in a dilapidated condition.

The bell tower of Neprobylice is a wooden replica dating from 1896 on a stone base. It houses three original bells from the 15th and 16th centuries. The stone base also contains two Renaissance tombstones of former owners of the village.

Hrádek, also known as Horní tvrz, dates from the 14th century; only the cellars and walls remain. Hrádek is protected as a cultural monument under ÚSKP number 34635/2-540. The former fortress of Neprobylice takes the form of an almost square, single-storey building with a hipped roof covered with fish-scale tiles.

The protected House No. 14 in Neprobylice is part of the Třebíz Open-Air Museum. Its architectural details include a half-timbered room from the 18th century and reused Late Gothic stone surrounds.
