In the centre of Uhy stands a chateau. North of the chateau, in front of house no. 20, stands the belfry of Uhy: a forked belfry on a stone base dating from around the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. It is registered as an immovable cultural monument under ÚSKP number 25123/2-4083.

Culture and History

The original chateau of Uhy was a Baroque building erected in 1737 for Count Kinský. In the 14th century, part of Uhy belonged to the Order of the Svatomářští křižovníci. Later, Uhy belonged to the church of Zlonice. The chateau of Uhy currently houses a kindergarten, apartments and premises for public institutions.
