Hořešovice lies in the valley of the Zlonický potok stream in the south of the Dolnooharská tabule. The oldest built-up core of the village is situated around a large village square with a memorial to the victims of the First World War.

Landscape

The Zlonický potok is relatively clean. The Pozdeňský les [Mšec] hill and Boušov hill are located in the vicinity of Hořešovice.

Culture

The Church of St Peter and Paul was originally built as a Gothic church in the 14th century. The Church of St Peter and Paul complex, together with the bell tower, boundary wall with gate, 1814 tomb and the associated land, is protected.
