Pletený Újezd: Holiday apartments and houses

Pletený Újezd lies on a gentle slope at the foot of Kožova hora, which rises 456 m above sea level. At the forest crossroads known as “U obrázku”, there is a tradition involving an image of the Virgin Mary that dates back to 1651.

Landscape

The Kožova Forest borders Pletený Újezd to the northwest. From the lookout tower on Kožova hora, the distant view extends across the entire Bohemian Central Uplands to the border mountain ranges. In the immediate vicinity of Pletený Újezd are the hill (Na Horkách) [Malé Přítočno] and Brdce Hill [Horní Bezděkov]. Doutnáč Mountain and Loustín Mountain are located in the wider regional surroundings of Pletený Újezd.

Culture

The former farmstead No. 5, with its residential building, gate and farm buildings, is a cultural monument of the Kladno District. The chapel was completely reconstructed in 2014. Various cultural events, exhibitions and dances can be attended in Pletený Újezd.

The wider regional surroundings of Pletený Újezd also include Karlštejn Castle, the Stará kanalizační čistírna Praha-Bubeneč Museum, Letohrádek královny Anny Palace and the Galerie Rudolfinum Museum.

Sports and Events

TJ Meteor Pletený Újezd has three sports facilities: a football pitch, a multifunctional field with artificial turf and a tennis court. There is a reservation system for the multifunctional field and tennis court in Pletený Újezd, through which times can be booked. The 32 km-long KO 8 “Unhošťský okruh” cycling route also passes through Pletený Újezd.
