Otvovice: Vacation Apartments and Holiday Homes

Otvovická skála is a rocky outcrop rising approximately 60 meters above the valley. The summit can be reached via a relatively easy-to-walk path and offers a view of Otvovice. As a natural monument, Otvovická skála comprises a species-rich habitat of rocky and loess steppes with a significant geological exposure.

Culture and History

The Chapel of Saint Procopius in Otvovice was built in the Gothic style in 1846 and is considered unique in the wider surrounding area. The Dubodol glassworks was founded in 1815 in the Otvovice valley near the mines.

Otvovice Swimming Pool was built in the 1970s as part of a sports complex. Currently, two of the original three pools are in operation; the swimming pool complex also includes a children's playground.
