Načeradec: Holiday Apartments and Houses

In the historic center of Načeradec lies a spacious, somewhat irregular, approximately rectangular square. A large Baroque castle building stands on its eastern side. Načeradec has largely preserved its small-scale, low-rise historic buildings, some of which have a rural character.

History and Culture

The origins of the Church of St. Peter and Paul in Načeradec date back to the second half of the 12th century. The Načeradecký Missal dates from the late 13th century and is considered the oldest surviving written monument in the Benešov region. The Jewish cemetery in Načeradec dates from the 18th century and attests to the former presence of a larger Jewish community.

Landscape and Trails

Načeradec is located in the Blaník Protected Landscape Area and enjoys a picturesque setting with beautiful panoramic views. The Sovova educational trail follows forest and field paths and runs parallel to the green-marked hiking route. It continues to Načeradec and Velký Blaník.

On the Way

The “In the Footsteps of the Blaník Knights” cycling route is 32 kilometers long, classified as moderately difficult, and leads to Načeradec.

Local Information

Fishing at Obecník is permitted from May 1 to December 31 only with a permit. Parking for cars at the Obecník dam is signposted.
