Keblov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Keblov lies in a flat hollow surrounded by forests near the Želivka Reservoir. A stream flowing through Keblov feeds the reservoir, while the village has preserved its rural character.

Landscape

The picturesque village green in Keblov is maintained with its old lime trees. A shop and an inn in Keblov are available to residents and numerous holidaymakers. The Kalamajka lookout tower on Javornická hůra can be accessed with a key borrowed from the mayor of Keblov.

Culture

The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was originally Gothic, has been documented in writing since 1352, and was probably built in the early 14th century. It was restored after a fire in 1895. The lantern procession “Lampionový průvod” was held in Keblov on November 15, 2024, and November 16, 2025.

Velký Blaník Mountain lies in the vicinity of Keblov. The hill Holý vrch [Mnichovice] is located nearby. In the wider regional surroundings of Keblov lie Ostojovka Mountain [Ledeč nad Sázavou-Souboř], Želivský Kláštor Monastery, and Melechov Mountain. The Loreta Church and the Church of Svatý Jan are also located there; the ruins of Orlík are likewise situated in the wider regional surroundings.

Getting There

Keblov can be reached via the D1 motorway (Prague–Brno) and is only a few kilometers from Exit 66.
